Plan: It was not possible to locate this historical mosque at Hamnāneh. The present village is in a distance of

about 6 km east of the ruined hamlet (“khirbet”) of the same name. During the GJU survey on October 12th, 2019, the mosque listed by Rjoub - Housan (2013) has not been identified.

Exterior: unknown.

Interior: 5 x10 m (Rjoub - Housan 2013)

Building Materials: limestone (Rjoub - Housan 2013).

Construction details: post and beam system, mud floor (Rjoub - Housan 2013).

Preservation: unknown.

Inscription(s): none known.

Date(s): Ayyubid-Mamluk (Rjoub - Housan 2013); the site goes back to the Nabatean period since it produced a Greek inscription on a basalt eagle, dedicated by a certain Prepon to the Arabian God (Θεός Ἀραβικός) in the year 126/127 AD (De Vaux 1951, 23-24), cf. no. 88).
