Date(s):The completely newly built complex (2002) includes the tomb of Dhirār bin al-Azwar in the vicinity of the Maqām Abū ‘Ubaydah ‘Āmir ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn al-Jarrāḥ. Contradictory Arab historiography causes confusion concerning the circumstances of his death and even on the identity of his personality.

Traveler Reports: “Ein Stück südwärts erhebt sich der tell ez-zrār, an dessen Südostfuß das weli ez-zrār liegt, ein kunstloses, 3 m langes Grab, das von einem Steinkreis umgeben ist; Zrār soll ein Vorfahr des Abū ‘Obēda gewesen sein” (Steuernagel 1927).
