Traveler Reports: “At the summit of that mountain, we found a tomb composed of a small enclosure of stones placed without cement. It is the wely Bequëira, a wellknown saint in the country, for the Musulman devotees have placed on the stones a multitude of ex-votos in the form of small rags torn from their clothes.” (Luynes II, 187, translated from the French by RS).
