Plan: rectangular, single naved, divided by corner and wall pilasters into two equally square bays covered by flat cross-vaults; two doors in the N wall, both of them centered in each of the two bays. The miḥrāb of the S wall of the E bay does not correspond axially to the door but is shifted to the W. To The E of the prayer-niche is a small rectangular wall niche; two windows in the W, in the corresponding position of the E wall only one window. At the exterior NW corner of the building raises a newly added minaret of square plan. Along the N façade a new prayer hall has been added in recent times.

Measurements: 56.3 m2

Exterior: 10.25 x 5.5m.

Interior: unknown.

Building Materials: limestone blocks, in the foundation zone several Roman elements (column drum, door frame) in reuse.

Construction details: The arches of the cross vault have a semicircular curvature. They are not articulated by sharp ribs. The pilasters are very broad; interior walls plastered and whitewashed.

Preservation: In the present condition, the mosque is permanently used for Muslim prayer.

Inscription(s): A modern Arabic inscription sign mentions the construction date of the mosque to AD 1890.

Date(s): Late Ottoman, dated by inscription to H 1307 = AD 1890, cf. the mosques at Umm Qes (no. 407) and ‘Al‘āl (no. 26).
