Preservation: The tomb was encircled by a wall of coarsely broken fieldstones, but due to natural decay nothing of it remains. The Islamic cemetery carries the name of the military commander Abū al-Hōl .

Date(s): Damis Abū al-Hōl / Hawl was one of the military leaders of the Rashidūn army which spread of Islam over Bilād al-Shām. He was a fierce hero known from the audacious siege of the Aleppo citadel in 637 AD held by the Byzantines.
