Plan: according to the latest research on this vernacular sacred burial site by Salameen and Fahalat in 2009, the shrine contained the tombs of Sulaymān and Ṣalīm the grandfathers of the local al-Masha‛leh tribe. These tombs were surrounded by a low enclosure wall with a very low door. Canaan (1929) reports that there were installations for lamps and incense burning in front of each tomb. Between the two graves a boxthorn had been growing.
