Preservation: The old mosque has been entirely demolished and is today replaced by a new building.

Date(s): The new mosque has been built in 1952 at the place of the old one; of the latter, nothing remains.

Traveler Reports: “To the south the ruins of a Jâma’, mosque, are found, and some large rock-hewn cisterns.” (Schumacher 1890 ([reprint 2010]); “Im Süden finden sich die Ruinen einer dschâmi’ und einige Felszisternen” (Steuernagel 1927).
