Plan: Desert mosque square to rectangular with miḥrab in the S wall, entrance possibly from the E. Mud brick ruin (fig. 393.3) on a hill to the SE of the Qaṣr square in plan, with three doors (N,E,W) and a niche in S wall.

Measurements: ca. 57.8 m2

Exterior: Mud-brick-ruin 7.60 x 7.60 m

Interior: unknown.

Building Materials: local limestone, chert, mud-brick.

Construction details: The borders of the praying place and the miḥrāb are marked by lines of upright standing regular limestone slabs (of possibly new origin).

Preservation: Intact; mud-brick mosque unknown.

Inscription(s): none known.

Date(s): Unknown, mud-brick masjid probably Umayyad.

Fig. 393.3 Mud-brick building of square ground plan, presumably an exterior mosque located upon a hill to the SE of the Qaṣr; the inside walls were covered by a double layer of fine plaster; in the middle of the S wall plastered mhrab; three doors in the centers of the N, E and W walls. The interior was occupied by a number of younger tombs (ca. 1930) oriented in E-W direction. The present condition of this mosque is unknown (source: F.
