Preservation: fragmented inscription.

Inscription(s): found reused in the masonry of a more recent house of vernacular style, reddish sandstone. The beginning and the ends of the lines are lost due to the trimming of the stone for recycling. The smooth surface displays 11 lines of dotted Cufic script; today preserved in Wādī Mūsā, Petra Museum (Transcription NAt; facsimile Tweissi 2002, 166):

 
 

Translation: “[....] md Muḥammad │to whom [...][...] Allāh [...][...]wah perpetuate [...] │ [Sha]wwāl year [...]│and fifty year [...]│four hundred [...] │ and wrote the gift of the Hereafter [...]│reward.” (translation by RS).
