Plan: an isolated niche, possibly used as the miḥrāb of a mosque, has been built up by the DoA during the 1990s on the S sidewalk of the decumanus maximus in the lower city. The architectonical context is unclear and it is questionable that these elements had been found at this location.

Building Materials: basalt.

Construction details: well-dressed basalt blocks, probably of pre-Islamic origin.

Preservation: arbitrarily restored, on the interior surface of the curved blocks and on the frame remains of whitewash paint.
