Inscription(s): An Arabic inscription near the tomb of the Shēkh was reported by G. Schumacher (Steuernagel 1927). Unfortunately, only the last two numerals of the date (- - 20) were legible at that time.

Date: Local narratives dated the shrine at Schumachers time to an age of about 200 years. Hence, the most probable dates of the maqām, according to the lost inscription, would be either the year H 1020/1611 AD or, more probable, H 1120/1708 AD.

Traveler Reports: “Oben auf dem Berge westlich des Dorfes (868 m) steht die schedscharet (schēch) Jarrāh mit einem zerfallenen gewölbten Weli. Ein Stein am Grabe des Schēch besagt, daß er dies Heiligtum im Jahre ...20 erbaut habe. Leider ist die Zahl zum großen Teil verwischt; Der Bau soll vor etwa 200 Jahren stattgefunden haben” (Steuernagel 1927).
