Preservation: The hill of the maqām (not to the W [Mittmann 1970] but to the E of kitte village) is today occupied by an Islamic cemetery and nothing of the Shēkh’s mausoleum remains apart from an old stone oak which was growing in its vicinity.

Traveler Reports: “Das halb verfallene Heiligengrab maqām wili eš-Šeh neğib (2310/1872) steht etwa 1,5 km westlich [sic!] von kitte (272) auf einem leicht nach 352. Shēkh Najīb (Mittmann 1970).
