Plan: Broad rectangular, with centralized entrance in the N and in axis the miḥrāb in the S wall. Due to the technique of roofing by wooden beams, the interior prayer room is subdivided by perpendicular transversal arches into seven bays which run parallel to the short walls. In the W short wall were three windows. At the NW corner of the courtyard (saḥn) was a minaret of square ground plan which merged into a cylindrical upper story. The balustrade and the top roofing were constructed of wood.

Measurements: ca. 93.84 m2

Exterior: 10 x 20 m (Belal 2020).

Interior: ca. 9.20 x 10.20 m.

Building Materials: Mud brick with limestone for the voussoirs of the arches, wooden beams and cane for roofing, interior plastered with hay-mixed mortar (tibn).

Construction details: Traditional technique of arches with flat roof (qantara-hall).

Preservation: destroyed and replaced by a new building.

Inscription(s): none known.

Date: H 1212 = AD 1936, destroyed by the flood of 1966 and thereafter replaced by a new building in concrete skeleton technique.
