Plan: unknown.

Measurements: 77 m2

Exterior: 10 x 7.7 m (MacKenzie 2002).

Interior: unknown..

Building Materials: The old mosque was constructed of well-dressed limestone blocks. Several of these ashlars have been found in modern field walls constructed after 2016.

Construction details: unknown.

Preservation: At the E site of the abandoned hamlet was a larger mosque which today was entirely destroyed by bulldozing in 2016. According to local farmers, the constructors took the elaborate stones of the miḥrāb niche flanked by two small columns with them to other villages. A second smaller and possibly older mosque was indicated by locals in the immediate eastern environs of the spring. This mosque has allegedly built on the foundations of a Christian church. However, nothing survives today at this spot which could verify this information.

Inscription(s): none known.

Date(s): unknown, possibly Ayyubid-Mamluk or Ottoman according to surface pottery sherds at the site.

Traveler Reports: “On the eastern edge of the site lie the remains of a 10x7.7 m mosque, largely destroyed.” (Mac Kenzie 2020).
