Preservation: A maqām / Weli of Shēkh Abū Wattad is not known anymore by the present inhabitants of this village. It is possible that this sanctuary was located in the valley, to the SW of the village, along the road to Dēr Abi Sayd, within an older cemetery which has been closed by the local authorities several years ago. No trace of a weli remains today.
