Plan: The present building rises on a rectangular terrace of partly old well-dressed stones in E-W orientation. Its plan is rectangular with a prayer hall with miḥrāb in the W and a separated burial chamber with the tomb in theIn the N wall is a door with rounded upper frame and window in a similar shape. This maqām is most probably identical with the shrine at Khirbet Raḥūb (no. 293).

Exterior: 9.66 x 6.50 m

Interior: unknown.

Building Materials: local limestone and concrete.

Construction details: covered by two catenary domes of concrete.

Preservation: New construction in skeleton concrete technique.

Inscription(s): none known.

Date(s): Shēkh ‘Isā al-‘Umarī al-Nu‘mān was nominated in the 16th century AD by the Ottoman Governor of Der’ā as the head of the village. The present funeral building has been constructed in 1988 replacing an older construction of unknown date.

Traveler Reports: “Scheikh ‘Eisa en-N’amân is a Muhammedan Saint, whose tomb lies near the village, and is kept in excellent order.” (Schumacher 1890 [reprint 2010]).
